Fisinox® colored head screws are specially designed for attaching facade panels, fascia boards, and canopies to a wooden substructure. Examples include HPL cladding such as Trespa®, Abet®, Plastica®, Ki-Kern®, etc. They are also suitable for fiber-cement cladding and rock wool/rock fiber cladding. Each box contains 100 screws.
Execution
Fisinox® colored head screws are made of A2 or A4 grade stainless steel. We recommend using A4 grade stainless steel on coastal areas. A4 grade stainless steel with an increased nickel content and added molybdenum is more resistant to aggressive conditions such as maritime climates (chlorides), industrial atmospheres (sulfur dioxide), and oxidizing acids. The self-centering 30-degree point eliminates the need for pre-drilling in wood. The extra-sharp point makes the screw quick to center and install. This is achieved partly by the sharp thread, but also ensures very high pull-out and shear values. All Fisinox® colored head screws are marked with the FIS marking on the screw shank.
T-20 bit included
The 12mm head is equipped with a special T-20 bit. This reduces bit wear and is particularly suitable for use with automatic drive equipment. A T-20 bit is included in all Fisinox® boxes. The T-20 bits have six pressure points to prevent paint damage. Use a new T-20 bit for every 100 Fisinox® colored head screws. This prevents damage and contamination of the screw head.
To colour
Fisinox® colored head screws are available in over 1000 colors. A unique color can be produced and manufactured if needed. This guarantees a 100% match for every facade panel. ASF Fischer BV has a wide range of standard colors available from stock.
Processing
The screws should not be overtightened to avoid complicating the panel's operation. The drill hole should have an 8 mm diameter so that the panel can expand and contract freely in all directions due to temperature and humidity changes. The minimum number of screws and the maximum mounting distances for the panels should be in accordance with the instructions for the defective panel type.
